Text Box: · Arrangements with a local contractor to make their best effort to accomplish service within the stated time frame. · A minimum of 3 attempts at service and depending on the contractor as many as they will provide before charging for each additional.  Additional attempts are billed for at the rate the contractor charges. · A standard notarized proof of service (Federal Returns of Service may or may not be notarized depending on the contractor) returned to us by mail and forwarded to you with our invoice. · Document transmission, whether by overnight courier, facsimile, or e-mail.  The given rate for Standard service provides for sending the documents by 3-day air, or, at our discretion, depending upon the number of pages, by facsimile or e-mail. There will be an additional fee for documents that do not fit in a standard overnight envelope. · Metro Legal Services will pay the contractor their fee as well as any ancillary charges for shipping the documents or the contractor’s fee for printing the documents on their end. · Free pickup within the Metro Legal Services defined downtown zones. · Acceptance of documents by facsimile with no charge, up to 15 pages. · Acceptance and printing or forwarding of e-mailed documents with no charge, up to 35 pages. · Discounts are applied when serving multiple entities at the same address, amount will depend on the discount we receive from the contractor. · Discounts are generally applied when several services are arranged with the same contractor.
